You have heard about how David Daleidon is being sued for his undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood, but you probably haven’t heard about Sandra. She is also implicated in the lawsuit.

Hartford Catholic Worker Summer Fun

Every summer we bring dozens of kids from our poor north Hartford neighborhood for a week of wonder in the Pachaug Forest of southeaster CT. For a week the kids will trade concrete sidewalks and wailing sirens for soft pine needle cushioned paths and wind whooshing through the trees. We will trade the always bright lights of city nights to gaze at a truly dark night sky and ponder the majesty of
the universe and our place in it. The kids will catch fish for the first time, they will swim in a lake for the first time- indeed some will swim for the first time. We will pick wild raspberries, share stories around a camp fire, see frogs and salamanders, hear a Bard owl screech and watch Great Blue Herons swoop… all for the first time.
We will go to a local dairy farm and the younger kids will lick ice cream cones so slowly on a hot night that the cream will drip down their arms; they do it every summer. And when we wash them clean as they struggle to lick quicker while avoiding a brain freeze they will be reminded that they are loved unconditionally and they can dare to love
unconditionally. We are on a journey with these kids in search of the Beloved Community, it is a grace filled adventure. We hope you can support our effort to make the Kingdom of God a bit more visible in our midst.
