This is my fundraiser for Savio Boy Choir Fatima Pilgrimage campaign. Please help me reach my goal and help this great cause!

Placeholder ImageThe Savio Boy Choir is the Philadelphia regions premier Catholic boy choir. The choir sings throughout the archdiocese at Vigil masses, as well as their annual Christmas concert, and special performances. In 2015, Savio Boy Choir had the privilege of travelling to Avila, Spain for the 500th anniversary celebration of St. Teresa, singing for numerous Holy Week masses and celebrations. This year the boys have been asked to share their beautiful voices in Fatima, Portugal for the 100th anniversary of The Apparitions of our Blessed Virgin Mary.

We have approximately 35 boys that would like to make this trip, and your support can make this life changing, faith-filled experience happen for them.
We thank you for your support. In gratitude for your generosity, our boys will say a rosary for your intentions.
Thank you, and God bless you.

Hunger in Venezuela

My wife Isa and I have been living in Venezuela since Nov. 2011, and if you have watched the international news recently, you know this country is in crisis. This is just a modest project to try to help those in our church and in our neighborhood who don’t have enough money for food and/or medicine. Remember what Christ said in Matthew 25, “I was hungry and you gave me food….”  Neighbors have trouble getting enough food. In Whatsapp groups our brothers in Christ seek medicines that are hard to find. A friend in our Catholic Church [in Morro 1, San Diego, Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela] wrote us today that she had had 1 glass of milk today, and neighbor had given her 2 kgs of rice. When I rode my bike to the market yesterday, there were people begging for food or money for food. I have seen lines at the supermarket of maybe 1000 people or more waiting for food at subsidized prices. They can’t afford the regular prices. In the last week,  I couldn’t find any bread at the local supermarkets; last week we couldn’t even find any bread at an expensive supermarket in Valencia. This is just a modest attempt to help those in our neighborhood and our church. God will repay you if you can give any amount. What did Jesus say, “Treat others the way you would want to be treated”. And if you were here, and someone in the US or elsewhere could help you, what would you want them to do? You’d want them to help. Remember the story in Matthew 25, where those who were kind, were rewarded by our Lord in the end with a welcome into heaven, forever– and those who saw their neighbor in need and did not help, were told in the end “Depart from me” and went to an everlasting punishment. If you are a Christian reading this, I ask you to please  help your brothers and sisters in need because they are hungry. If you are not Christian, then we ask your help just because it is the right thing to do. Anything you can do will be appreciated, and go 100% to our neighbors. My wife is an accountant; I tutor English; we are the fortunate ones here. But you can’t pretend you don’t see it, and turn your back. That wouldn’t be right. Thanking you in advance for whatever you can do– Truly may God richly bless you for your kindness. Peace. Art Cromwell

Pro-life Students’ Crowdfunding

CHECK OUT OUR 2018 CAMPAIGN PAGE HERE: www.wonderwe.com/standforlife

Very recently, CCBR received confirmation from the Liberal Government that our summer students have been denied over $150,000 of wages for this yearthis is simply because they are pro-life.

After a lobby campaign by the Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada, the Liberal Government announced that pro-life groups previously receiving grant funding will now be denied.

Each of CCBR’s students meets all the qualifications necessary to receive this funding, and as such, have received this grant for the past number of years. The purpose of the Canada Summer Jobs grant is simply to ensure that students have paid employment. Our government has determined that it can choose whether or not to grant a benefit on the basis of one’s opinion and belief.

Trudeau’s Liberal Government has inserted an ideological purity test into a taxpayer-funded program and politicized a program simply intended to get students a paying summer job.

Will you donate to prove to our government that we won’t be bullied into keeping pro-life students from being paid?

30 summer students are beginning their employment this week.

These students have been working toward, and planning their summer to be part of reaching 4 million Canadians with the truth about abortion.

We have been the first target in a campaign by the Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada, which is determined to make sure the government denies any funding to all groups that respect the sanctity of life. We know that you care about saving the lives of pre-born children.

Due to this discriminatory treatment from our Liberal Government, we must fundraise $150,000 of the total funds we’ve been refused.

We are confident that there are enough pro-life people like you, who are willing to make an emergency, one-time donation to assist in carrying out our summer programs as planned!
