The Vulnerable People Project, a project of Human Rights Education and Relief Organization (H.E.R.O.), is calling on Americans to provide urgent financial resources to help save men, women and children in Afghanistan from imminent death during the harsh winter months. The Vulnerable People Project has launched the COAL FOR CHRISTMAS initiative and is there to help countless families amid an escalating humanitarian crisis.

“Without our help thousands of children are going to die,” said Jason Jones, founder of the Vulnerable People Project. “In America, giving coal is saved for the bad kids at Christmas. In Afghanistan, the families hiding from the Taliban want nothing more than coal for Christmas. Right now, one million vulnerable people, many of them Christians, are at risk for starvation and exposure this winter as they hide in safe houses. We stand to serve 5,000 people minimally and urgently need resources from the American people. This Christmas, I’m urging Americans to give the gift of coal, and help to ensure thousands of Christians in Afghanistan stay hidden and receive food and heating supplies they need as they await opportunities to emigrate.”

In August 2021, the United States government pulled out all military resources from the region, and it is estimated that there are tens of thousands of Christians who remain in hiding in Afghanistan seeking shelter and basic needs but have no recourse for survival.

In an extraordinary move, the Vulnerable People Project is now partnering with a San Diego business owner who was evacuated from Afghanistan in early December. Prince Wafa, a San Diego area resident and American citizen, saw first hand the peril and urgency of the humanitarian crisis and is now providing immediate assistance to the Vulnerable People Project for the COAL AT CHRISTMAS initiative.

“This situation is urgent,” said Prince Wafa, a former translator for the U.S. Army. “Parents are selling their children for food and are desperate for basic survival needs. I understand because I was trapped in Afghanistan. During my crisis, a friend of mine in the United States saw Jason Jones appear on a news segment on EWTN News Nightly. Jason’s organization was our last hope. VPP and my local congressman, Rep. Darrell Issa, were there for me when my wife and I were vulnerable,” said Prince Wafa. “Now that I’m free, it’s imperative that we save others. So I have to pay it forward. The power of one news story helped me get the right connections, cell phones, and money so that my life and my family’s life would be saved. I want to do the same by driving awareness to this urgent need for resources.”

Thank you for saving the lives of 6 Afghan Christian women. Your money was used to safely move them from Kabul to Islamabad and pay for a safe house to accommodate them until they reach their destination. These women are very grateful, and you all are in their prayers. I spoke to them, while crying they asked me to thank their “angels”. Mariam said, “We owe our lives to you thank you for your kindness and may God bless you and your children.” Asil said, “We owe you, our lives.” Fatima said, “We had given up, the only thing that kept us going was prayers. I asked our Lord Jesus Christ to save us, and he sent his angels. We could not be any more grateful. You saved us from death and our honor and chastity, May God bless you all.” These women and girls are very thankful and now they have hope to get reunited with the rest of their families. And I am thankful for restoring my faith in God.

The Vulnerable People Project launched our latest campaign, the Afghan Relief Fund, this August.

Since then, we’ve participated in the evacuation of 676 refugees to a safer, temporary new country.

We have also covered the costs to fly and resettle 17 vulnerable Christians to Brazil. 

We’ve covered the resettlement costs of an Afghan mother of an American citizen and supported the resettlement of an Afghan-American and his Afghan wife who served as interpreter for US Special Forces.

We have delivered food and money and cell phones to Afghanis in safe houses throughout Afghanistan and Pakistan and continue to do so.

Recently, we secured landing rights for planes to go from Afghanistan to Sri Lanka.

With 440 others still on our manifest, our work in Afghanistan continues on.

UPDATE (11/10/21):

Our team at the Vulnerable People Project remains 100% focused on our Afghan Relief Fund as we are now working with governmental leaders and other NGOs to rescue the most vulnerable from Afghanistan before it’s too late and the Taliban get to them.
Below I’ve pasted a portion of a recent email and photo we got as our intake email is being spread throughout Christian communities in Afghanistan. 
It’s heartbreaking when I have to reply back asking for more personal information in order to add a family to our manifest list and then inform them of the wait process we have in place. But at the same time, I feel honored that I am to do something to offer connections with our folks on the ground who can get food and cell phone cards as well as the promise of extraction.
Until the emails and pleas for help cease coming in, we will not. 
So, please make a tax-deductible gift as soon as possible of $250, $100, $75, or even $25 as each person we help escape from the Taliban is costing us thousands, sometimes tens of thousands.
And please…keep our team in your continued prayers as well as all of those who remain within the grasp of the terrorists.

Yesterday the Taliban came and threatened our colleagues and today a groups of Taliban soldiers has came once again and burned all of our book those our foreigner colleagues have left. The Taliban thought all of books that they burned are Christian books (non religious/Koofri books).

The Taliban groups also asked for cars/vehicles and other things that they named Ghanimat.

We are not safe. I need urgent help and support. If you can, please save my life.

As soon as you read this message, I know you will agree with me that our mission is CRITICAL to helping this Christian family escape Afghanistan.

Hi Jason! My name is —— ———. Need your help desperately to save a Christian Afghan family hiding in ——-, Afghanistan. Two members of the family were burned alive because of their religion. The family has children.

Please help them. They have no one to turn and no one is helping them because everyone is SO scared if they get caught, as helping them they will get them killed. They are hiding in the shed. It’s cold, and they ran out of food yesterday. They been eating corn and raisins last week. All week that’s all they had access too. Please help them get out before winter starts. 
It’s emails like this for why I asked for your prayers the other day. It seems that for every person we are able to rescue through our Afghan Relief Fund, I receive at least two or email more desperate pleas like this.
And the fact is, I can only help as many as our supporters allow us to.
So, please help me as we continue to help Christians escape the grasp of the Taliban by chipping in.

UPDATE (10/18): Success!

100% of our original list have now been successfully evacuated from Afghanistan. Thank you for making this possible.

There are still 350 other people who need help, so we will continue working for them until they are safely extracted.

We are also actively fundraising for visas for Afghan Christians to relocate to Brazil. Please spread the word – we need another $98,000 to pay their way to a new life in South America.

UPDATE (9/22): 23 just got out of Afghanistan!

As of right now we have 75 on our priority evacuation list as they are all likely on the Taliban’s “list.”
And recently, we just helped 23 of those 75 escape. Today or tomorrow, another 7 should make it to safety, if all goes according to plan.
While our government has left many allies in Afghanistan who we know will be targeted by the Taliban for torture and execution, we have not. And because of your on-going support and prayers, we continue to help those most in need flee.

After the catastrophic takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban, movie producer Jason Jones is energetically working with members of congress, private contractors and governments around the world to evacuate persecuted Christians and our vulnerable friends out of Afghanistan. 

The family that recorded the audio in the video below are on the manifest list that Jones hopes he can fly to safety, but it means his organisation, the Vulnerable People Project, is now trying to pay for a special plane and pilot to take up the mission.  
“Just yesterday my fingers stopped shaking because we were hopeful,” Jones explained about the upcoming flights.  
“…[W]e couldn’t say it publicly, but we’d been working with a foreign ally and with people in that government that we trust…we knew that we would be getting humanitarian flights in again in a couple of days, which we will be doing…and so I felt just a profound sense of relief.” 
Jones thanked LifeSiteNews and everyone who has donated for making it possible for him to hire translators, experts from the region and other people to work through the list of those who need help.

Defend Dolores Cahill, professor, from UK courts

Dolores Cahill has publicly detailed the most pressing problems with mRNA injections, among them the harm, injury and death in studies and clinical trials where many animals were harmed and died throughout years of research.

She has over thirty years of research in the areas of molecular biology and immunology, and has been a Full Professor for over 15 years.
Throughout 2020-2021, she highlighted the fact there are preventions and treatments for Covid-19, such as Nobel-Prize winning Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Ivermectin and also Hydroxychloroquine and zinc.
Dolores was involved in setting up the World Doctors Alliance  and the World Freedom Alliance and is honoured to be President of both to facilitate networking and communication and to promote freedom and inspire hope in these times.
She only learned on 18th August 2021 from others that newspapers were alleging a warrant had been issued in the U.K. for her arrest, reportedly in relation to an event she address on 19th September 2020. 
Dolores was not asked for her address and did not give any address on that date to anyone, not least to any police constable.
Cahill was not arrested on that date or ever, nor has she seen the warrant or been informed of the charges.
She is now facing court and asking for support in relation to addressing these charges. 
The funds raised will be used to access lawful information, and also to support her work to get her message out, including custodean.com and to support her in her travel and subsistence.

Help Geneviève build a Culture of Life in Quebec

Geneviève wants to arrange the material and staffing needed for a permanent faith, life, and family office in Quebec, where we can organize events such as LifeChain, 40 Days for Life, even a 2022 March for Life in Quebec City.

Since the day when Jacques Cartier raised a cross as a sign of conquest in Gaspé in 1534, Quebec became the home for the Catholic Church in North America. Until only a few decades ago, churches in every little town resounded with the voices of thousands of faithful souls, crowds gathered around roadside crosses, pilgrims came from far away to profess their Faith, and missionaries from Quebec were sent around the world in quest for souls.  
But where is the Faith in Quebec today? What happened to the thousands and thousands of crosses proclaiming the Faith in every school, in every government building, in every hospital, and in the parliament? Today, churches are transformed into condos, convents are sold because they are empty, crosses are being taken down. 
What’s more, from being an ambassador of a culture of Life and family, in which large families of 5,6, 12 children were not uncommon, Quebec has become the epicentre of the Culture of death in Canada. Both euthanasia and abortion were legalized in Canada due to pressure coming from Quebec. Our most pro-abortion prime ministers, Pierre Elliot Trudeau, who legalized abortion in 1969, and his son Justin, who zealously promotes abortion, euthanasia and LGBT causes both at home and abroad, were born and raised in this province.   
As for the province’s capital, Quebec City, things are dire: LGBT rainbow sidewalks mar the downtown core, and hardly 1% of the population attends mass weekly. How can a nation return to Christianity when its capital is dying? The birthplace of the Faith in North America has become a graveyard.

Help a seminarian of the ICKSP 2021/22

Dear Catholic faithful,


My name is abbe Mitchell Gunnarson. I am a seminarian with the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. This September, I begin my third year of formation with the Institute and am asking for your help to cover the cost of my seminary formation. My goal for this 2021/22 year is to raise $20 000. The monthly cost, including both tuition and accommodations is €700 or roughly $1100 CAD. Reaching this goal will set me in good standing for my coming year of formation, make up for the $8500 I was unable to pay the previous year, and cover my clothing and other basic necessities. I ask you to be generous and to share my cause with your friends and family. No amount is too small, and recurring monthly donations can be arranged and are greatly appreciated.

            This past June, I and twenty-one others received the First Clerical Tonsure at the hands of His Eminence, Raymond Cardinal Burke. In the Rite of Tonsure, the candidate approaches the bishop seated at the altar to as it were, offer his very life in sacrifice. Holy Mother Church, in Her divine wisdom does not take his neck but instead, five cuts of hair from the front, back, top, and sides of the head. She calls the new cleric to the imitatio Christi the imitation of Christ, who by his Passion and five Precious Wounds gave his life for his Immaculate Bride. In this first step toward the altar a man who one day is to be an alter Christus, another Christ, begins to follow the footsteps of Our Lord in a visible manner.

The Church, being ever solicitous of man’s frailty and having received the candidates pledge of death to the world in the words of Psalm 15 “Dominus pars hereditatis mei”, “The Lord is the portion of my inheritance…”, clothes the newly tonsured cleric in the white surplice, exhorting him to put on the new man created by God in justice and truth. “Induat te Dominus novum hominem, qui secundum Deum creatus est in justitia, et sanctitate Veritatis”. Every day, as the cleric clothes himself in soutane he repeats those words of Psalm 15 in prayer, in thanksgiving for what he has received, as a reminder of the dignity and privileges of his state in life and the grave responsibility to lead a life worthy of his calling. The Tonsure is only the door of entry to the clerical state yet it is wonderful to behold.

            The life of the Catholic today is fraught with trouble. In my country of Canada dozens of Catholic Churches have been vandalised and even burned to the ground. There is a seeming endless Covid crisis tearing the fabric of civic life, endless scandals from within the Church while the ever-encroaching secular state is left unchecked. And finally, the recently issued and severe regulations on the traditional Roman Rite and those priests who offer it, which has only been in these trying times as ever, a deep wellspring of grace for so many. It is a time for Saints. Each of us must follow Christ wherever He may lead. Please help me in my effort to follow Our Lord to where He has called me to be, I cannot do it alone. It is clearer every day that Christendom, that unrivaled pearl of civilisation, and the restoration of all things in Christ, will not be bought with half-measures but by those who give all.
