Help Truckers at the Border with Missed Wages

THIS FUNDRAISER WILL CEASE OPERATING FROM 16TH FEB AS THE PROTEST HAS CONCLUDED –THE MONEY IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING TRANSFERRED TO OUR BRAVE TRUCKERS

————————————————-

Truckers at Coutts AB have been standing firm since Saturday, January 29, 2022. They have faced a lot of pressure and adversity from coworkers, family, and communities.

International donors — all donations are processed in CAD. Currency exchange rates may apply on your personal bank/credit card statement.

We know they have missed a lot of work and they have families at home they’ve been separated from. Please help us support them for “missed wages”

The Trucker Convoy for Freedom 2022 started as a movement to end all mandates in Canada. One part of the convoy went to Ottawa, and they’ve raised a lot of money for expenses.

But the second part of the convoy was to go to Alberta to hold the line at the border and cause such a disruption that the government would take note of all the people standing up for our religious & medical freedoms and rights.

The truckers were willing to leave their families and even go to jail, under threat of arrest, because they believe God was calling them to #HoldTheLine in His name and for His people.

We want to support them in this, because they are fighting for us, too.

Spokeswoman for the truckers Vanessa Nieboer said she is glad to open a LifeFunder campaign, and that people who can’t make it to the border can still support the cause by making a donation.

“We estimate that $1500 to $3500 dollars are being lost in wages each day by each trucker, which among 30 truckers amounts to hundreds of thousands of dollars so far,” Nieboer explained.

“Contracted truckers with us have been threatened that they’ll never get work again, so they’re worried about their futures, but they feel this is where God wants them. They’re trusting God with their futures.”
