Help Jane Bernardel win her COVID case against diocese

Jane’s trespassing case was dismissed on January 6, 2022 after police had her handcuffed and arrested on Halloween 2020 when she refused to wear a mask in a church in Bishop Johnston’s diocese. In February 2021 she received a formal canonical rebuke and penal precept from Bishop Johnston. The letter cited Jane’s 2020 arrest, accused her of multiple “grave disturbances” in another church of the diocese, and forbade her presence on diocesan property for at least one year, with the exception of cemeteries. Jane’s husband has spent tens of thousands of dollars both on civil and canon lawyers to try to have the ban revoked. The Bernardels are being restricted from living their faith in the churches which they normally attend. They ask for your support so that they can continue to live their faith unimpeded by these restrictions.
