So often our tender and touching ads are the only visible sign offering hope and help to someone who may be on the brink of an abortion decision. Here’s an example of a couple recent Hotline callers:

• “I just found out I’m pregnant and everyone is pushing me to have an abortion. ‘Don’t be stupid,’ they’re saying. But I don’t feel right about it. I saw your ad. What kind of help do you have?”
• “I had an abortion years ago. The baby would be eight now. I just found out I’m pregnant again (I have a restraining order against the guy) and I just can’t bring myself to have another abortion. I called Planned Parenthood but then I chickened out and called you.”
• “I am 13 weeks pregnant and need help deciding what to do. I don’t want to have an abortion but I have been struggling a lot financially and mentally.”
