Kirsten made her entire 4 year ALS journeycompletely drug free. She is a successful example of how to battle the culture of Euthanasia.
She went to bed Dec. 18, 2024, surrounded by 5 nuns from the Queenship of Mary community who drove 4 hours (each way) from Ottawa to pray with her. She died peacefully in her sleep at 6 a.m. the next morning
Please pray for Adessa, their 8 year old, who has lost mommy. The campaign remains open to help with ongoing related expenses.

Nov 2024: Kirsten defied the euthanasia oriented Canadian medical system, in good spirits even though her disease meant no use of her muscles, mouth, etc. Her mind was working 100% and she was a intercessory prayer warrior. She communicatesd with an eye tracking computer. They are grateful to generous donors who have softened the load. They renewed their marriage vows in July:
Here is a faithful prolife family. For many years David wrote and sang the theme song at the Canadian National March for Life. For the last 4 years Kirsten has had ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease. She has lost all control of her muscles in her arms, legs, voice, swallowing and chest muscles.
The health care system in Canada was unable to provide them with a level of care that was sustainable and so David put his business on pilot light to take care of Kirsten and their 8 year old home schooled daughter. They hired private help so as not to burn out on the 24 hour care that is required.
