Hi friends, families, and communities!
We found out my mom has intestine cancer, MODERATELY DIFFERENTIATED, ULCERATE TUBULAR ADENOCARCINOMA. She just had her surgery to remove the tumors and is recovering well.
We are still waiting for the biopsy results to know what will be the next steps. Chemotherapy is generally the indicated medicine.
My grandma died of similar cancer that attacked her intestine and pancreas, making this one of my family’s biggest concerns at the moment.
My mom currently lives in Brazil, and the surgery cost was around $8,000.00 (R$40,000.00 in Brazilian currency). We split the payment and we’re paying monthly.
