March for Life – Sponsors Needed!

Hello, my name is Katherine Rogovich and I am a proud member of Sacred Heart of Jesus parish in Grand Rapids, MI. This year, as a Freshman,  I have the wonderful opportunity through my church to travel to Washington DC and attend the March for Life in January.  I will be marching for all of the babies who lost their life in the horrible death of abortion; the babies who do not have a voice. The March for Life is so important to me because it stands up for the right to life for every person no matter how small. I want to show my firm belief that all life is valuable and that a fetus is a baby from the moment it was formed in the womb. I currently attend a public school, and it is my hope to be invigorated by this march with my peers and to bring the pro-life message back to school with me to be a witness to God’s Holy Will. 

To raise money for this amazing trip our youth group at Sacred Heart is conducting a Baby Blanket Marathon.  We will be gathering together to make fleece blankets to donate to our local pregnancy aid center: Help Pregnancy Aid.  During this marathon we will be pausing each hour and reading the names of our donors for that hour and praying for them.  Here is where you come in!  I am looking for sponsors to pay $20 dollars for an hour of the marathon. For each generous sponsor, I am offering an hour of prayer while I make adorable baby blankets. I pray that abortion will soon be completely gone for the sake of the generations to come. God Bless!

Every donor will have their name mentioned at the top of their hour and will be prayed for by all the students. $20/hour.

The purpose of the 12 hour marathon is to:

1. Raise greater awareness for the dignity of human life, particularly the life of the unborn.

2. Help reduce the total cost for attending the March for Life.

3. Advocate for life by supporting the local HELP Crisis Pregnancy Center.

4. Pray for the end to abortion and all crimes against human life.
