The MCBS (Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament), is a Religious Order of Priests and has been present in Tanzania since 2009, serving vulnerable communities through pastoral care, education, and social outreach. For the past seven years, our mission has been quietly caring for children with special needs—children with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities—through a small, rented home setup with very limited facilities.

Despite constraints, families placed immense trust in us. Their greatest hope was simple: a safe place where their children would be loved, educated, and treated with dignity.

A New Step Forward

Today, that long-held hope is becoming reality.

We are now developing a Residential Special School and Caregiving Center (Care Home) on our own land, allowing us to move beyond limitations and provide stable, long-term, holistic care. This year, we are preparing to welcome 50 children, reflecting both the urgent need and the confidence families place in this mission.

Through this Care Home, each child will receive:

• Specialized education and therapy
• Healthcare, nutrition, and daily care
• Emotional and spiritual support
• A permanent home filled with dignity, stability, and love
