Dear Friends and Family of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter,

Greetings from Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary!

We write to you today in the hope that you will support us in raising funds for our continued priestly formation as we train for the Lincoln Half-Marathon and Marathon.

Over the last five years, we have seen a growing number of priests and seminarians at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary (OLGS) lace up for the nearby Lincoln Half-Marathon and Marathon. Ten men first toed the line five years ago; last year saw 17 men compete; now our numbers have jumped to 45 entrants this year – that means nearly half the seminary will be running! Our participation in this event serves not only as a means of maintaining an anima sana in corpore sano, but also stands as an important Catholic witness at the same time that it spotlights Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary and the FSSP. Will you help us raise funds to showcase these worthy causes and defray the cost of the outstanding priestly formation we are blessed to receive?

Peter O’Connor Half Marathon

My name is Peter O’Connor, and I am currently in my 5th year at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary.

Thank you for your help in the formation of future priests! I will be offering daily prayers for my benefactors and will be carrying your intentions with me as I train. Whether or not you are able to support financially, please do pray for me in my formation to the priesthood – and that I remain healthy during my training!

God bless you!

Austin Currall

Please support this pro-life and Catholic family living in Idaho as they help their 2 year old fight advanced cancer. Austin, the 5th of 6 kids was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney cancer (nephroblastoma) just before Christmas 2023. Since then, it has been a whirlwind of medical intervention. Austin’s father has taken a leave of absence from work to be with Austin for the past month in the hospital, 3 hours from home, leaving him without a paycheck but he will continue to be there with his little guy. Meanwhile, Austin’s mother is at home, homeschooling, and taking care of their other 5 kids including their nursing 5 month old.

Between compromised immune systems, viruses, surgeries, chemo, radiation and their horrendous side effects, we would greatly appreciate your prayers for little Austin.
Between the expenses of living away from home, keeping a family of 6 kids and 2 adults going without a paycheck, and the stress of watching your two year in misery, we would greatly appreciate your prayers for Austin’s amazing parents.
Finally, please consider donating to financially support this pro-life and catholic family as they carry this heavy cross.
Edit: Austin is now able to be home and can do some treatments at a local pediatric clinic. They drive 3 hours to the children’s clinic every couple of weeks for the more advanced treatments. They stay for about a week at a time and this will go on for the next couple years.
