FABIOLA — A Catholic Feature Film for Families

The FABIOLA feature film in which a Roman noblewoman inadvertently surrounds herself with Christians in an effort to elevate her mind. When these people one by one get betrayed and executed for their Faith, she must choose whether or not to embrace the Truth or continue to live comfortably in darkness.

Film shapes culture.

For generations, it has been controlled by the enemies of the Faith and we can see the effects of that every day around us. But we are here to change that. FABIOLA is a part of the movement of Catholic filmmakers who are taking the influence of film seriously. Through this medium, we can subtly bring back virtue and goodness as a way of life again.

Why Film Matters — Especially for Catholics

Catholics have always understood that the Faith flourishes when we have Catholic parishes, Catholic education, and Catholic art. 
Film, however, remains an undervalued art form in Catholic circles — despite its profound influence on the culture and the family.
Telling our stories is how we keep our heritage. And film is the most powerful method of storytelling in our time.

FABIOLA is a film that tells a powerful story that upholds Catholic teaching. And at the same time, it is a story of conflict and struggle to attain virtue with realistic characters who share the same weaknesses of human nature we all do.

About the Project

FABIOLA is being developed by Industrious Family Films, a family-operated studio that has been working in film for the past 11 years, completing 7 films.

This amount of experience has taught us what it takes to make a film and what is required to carry a film to completion.

Current Funding Need

The full production budget for FABIOLA is $1,250,000, which is being raised in through crowdfunding and investments.

In the opening weeks of 2026, we are working to secure $200,000 to prepare the project for production.

This LifeFunder campaign represents $62,000 of that early phase, designated specifically for charitable gifts from those who wish to support FABIOLA.

Already we have raised $50,000, and gifts to this campaign will make up a large portion of what we plan on raising in crowdfunding.
