The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has not only intensified religious control and persecution but has also tried to virtually nip children’s religious beliefs in the bud by banning all catechetical teachings to children.

Sadly, persecuted Catholics in China aren’t being taught the true beauty of the Catholic faith and haven’t been for years. Recent events are only making this worse.
Currently, a new ministry is working to bring faithful Catholic teaching to China through online long-term courses and a sharing internet community.
Our mission: to be a bridge for the transmission of Catholic catechism and Church teaching to build a community of faith formation based on Catholic ethical relationships, so that our brothers and sisters in China can live out the faith together with the faithful of the universal Church.
The ministry has already run two sessions of catechist formation courses for children, and 240 front-line teachers from 34 dioceses across the country have participated in this ten-month training. Through two years of teaching, we have gathered a team of more than 20 experts from around the world with theoretical and practical experience in catechism.
In 2022, the ministry has already launched an internal website developed through Lifefunder donations for posting training courses and sharing catechetical materials, which is currently at risk, in the face of strict Internet information censorship by state agencies. In 2023, the ministry plans to develop a more secure APP to facilitate communication and connection among participants, forming a Catholic ethical faith-based formation community. In addition, the teaching team has already prepared a large long-term program for family faith formation. With this unique communication tool, it can be used like a sharp knife in the midst of severe CCP censorship, blazing a trail through the cracks and equipping the many faithful families who desire to live in the Gospel to better nurture our next generation.
At a bare minimum, the ministry needs $2,000 a month to continue to reach the 10,000-25,000 families through their own media. Due to the non-profit issues being faced, we are hoping to raise enough funds to cover a year’s worth of expenses to help us continue in our endeavor.
