Hey, have you heard about Joan Doe story?

It’s absolutely heart-wrenching what Joan, a Catholic young widow at the age of 44, and her children are going through right now since her husband passed away.

Prior her husband passing away, the landlord, a pastor of a non-denominational church, didn’t like they were renting a house owned by his church when he walked in to find statues and icons. He passive aggressively mistreated them.

But they being independent Catholic missionaries, they knew God’s calling was to serve souls and God showed them this home on Mother Mary’s feastday.

After Joan’s husband’s passing, due to suffocating on a mandated mask at work that lead to his stroke at work, their grief was a difficult journey. The children never saw their Daddy in the hospital and wasn’t allowed to touch, smell, and experience Daddy until four weeks later when he was cold in a morgue. This was due to covid lockdown hospital policies. Plus, the hospital allowed Joan only once a one hour final goodbye without interruptions before he fell asleep with Our Lord.

Between hospital hostility because Joan wouldn’t give into them declaring him brain dead to force organ donation on him and the trauma they were going through due to covid policies, the family had a long road of 2.5 years of grief and trauma recovery. Mind you, it’s never easy to hear the medical staff call your loved one, “Not a person, not of higher being,” cohearsing you to give in to their euthanasia and financial profit scams.

In the meantime, the landlord became more agressive in his behaviors.

You want to know what’s been happening?

Well, while they were grieving, their rental home has turned into a living nightmare. The landlord, driven by sheer cruelty, subjects Joan to unspeakable torment. It’s beyond comprehension. He stalks her in her home, threatens her with physical violence, and even tries to evict her as a form of retaliation. It’s a relentless cycle of verbal and emotional abuse, leaving Joan feeling trapped, as a hostage in her own home and helpless or running away from her own home to keep from being abused. Imagine, the landlord has been stalking her in her own home!

It’s absolutely horrific. It’s been difficult for her managing to cope with all of this.

She’s been incredibly strong, fighting for justice every step of the way. She’s reported the incidences to the police and sought legal representation. The safety of her children is her top priority, so she’s in the process of finding a new place to live, while also she filed for tenant eviction due to the uninhabitable conditions they’ve been subjected to because landlord deliberately and abusively denied them their dignity of human rights within their home. Their rental home has had massive electrical issues that have been a severe fire hazard, a life threatening hazard, and their landlord keeps ignoring concerns even after many appliances and electrical items burned out within days.

In a matter of a few days, their electrical wiring burned out their central air conditioner, central heater, water heater heating element, stove/oven, some lights, and outlets leaving them with an uninhabitable home to rent. Due to landlord’s abuse, he wasn’t pro-active for nine days to fix and replace things. The one outlet, the receptacle wiring was arching ready to catch fire while the outlets would spark. He still hasn’t followed through on doing a full electrical inspection on his own home leaving it at high risk of being a fire hazard.

It’s outrageous that such abuse can go on unchecked. There’s little support she’s receiving from society because this is a landlord and tenant issue in most people’s minds. There’s no laws protecting widows or this kind of abuse from with landlords. He can come in her home anytime to stalk her. Agencies aren’t used to this type of situation so there’s no programs of support.

Sadly, the system has failed her. The laws meant to protect tenants like Joan and her children have left them vulnerable and unheard. Their cries for help have fallen on deaf ears, and they are denied the justice and protection they so desperately deserve.

It breaks my heart to think of Joan and her children living in fear like this. What can you do to help right now, right here?

We must come together, offer our unwavering support, and ensure Joan and her children know they are not alone. By raising awareness and sharing their story, we can demand a change for them and push for the justice they deserve. Yes, we can pray too, but prayers only go so far as God chose people like you to be a beacon of hope through action. Additionally, we can provide financial assistance through donations to help them secure a safe new home, cover legal expenses, and provide the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

They’re in need of paying for…
• Moving Truck and Movers
• Dumpster due to damaged items from leaking roof over garage storage
• Professional home cleaners
• Pressure Washing Garage Floor
• Pod monthly rent and transportation
• Lawyers to fight
• Deposit and Rent $5000 alone as rent is approximately $2000-$2500 monthly OR a home for purchase

Can we count you in?

I can’t stand by and watch them suffer. This is a personal fundraiser for their family, spread the word, and gather the funds needed to bring them hope and healing. Together, we can make a difference and show Joan and her children that love and compassion still exist in this world.

In our mission to bring light to Joan’s life and offer her and her children a fresh start, we humbly ask for your support. Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards covering moving expenses, legal fees, and providing them with the stability and security they desperately need. Let us come together, in solidarity, and provide them with the means to break free from this harrowing situation. Your generosity will not only change their lives but also serve as a powerful reminder that compassion and empathy can truly transform the world.

Will you stand in solidarity for Joan and her children?

Let me share a little personal story about Joan and her family.

Joan and her family have been 13 years as USA missionaries. They have given up their lives for the sake of souls and the poor and needy. They are a Christian Catholic homeschooling family who go out in the streets feeding and praying with the homeless. Joan and her husband had fostered over 100 children. Their children have learned to feed the poor they find along the street and pray with them. This family has then a beacon of hope to so many who have experienced the rough sides of life. They have aided many families in need. Will you right now be a beacon of hope for their family?
