This documentary reveals as-yet unseen footage of interview with Sister Lucia on
the 24th of March 2004 in which she speaks with Australian filmmaker Charles
Morton.
Charles attended upon Sister Lucia to show her one of the early
pre-screenings of Mel Gibson's "The
Passion of the Christ". Charles spoke with Sister Lucia after the film
about a number of issues. Sister Lucia also commented on Mr Gibson's film.
Present throughout the screening was her confessor Fr Luis Kondor. On
the following day, the 25th of March 2004, Father Kondor consented to a
two-hour interview and discussed what Sister Lucia had told him about the
consecration of Russia performed on the 25th of March 1984. The interview took
place on the twentieth anniversary of this consecration. In the documentary,
Father Kondor speaks about what he was directed to do by Pope John Paul II on
the day of the consecration in 1984. Father Kondor also explains what Sister Lucia
said directly to him about this consecration.
Charles has travelled the globe obtaining interviews from experts in
their field. There are interviews with, inter alia, Russian
Orthodox and Russian Catholic clergy in Moscow, as well as with an expert who
explains how the errors of Russia have been spread throughout the world and
have now been adopted throughout Western Civilization. Charles travelled to
Krakow, Poland and interviewed Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz, who was the
secretary of Pope John Paul II and was present at the 1984 consecration.
Cardinal Dziwisz spoke of the mindset of Pope John Paul II and his desire to
mention “Russia” by name on the day of the actual consecration. Instead, Pope
John Paul II used the words:
In a special way we entrust and consecrate to you those individuals and
nations which particularly need to be thus entrusted and consecrated.
There was a Vatican diplomatic protocol in place that originated in
1958; a Vatican envoy secured the presence of four members of the Russian
Orthodox clergy at the Second Vatican Council on the condition that “Russia”
would not be mentioned in any church document or consecration. This protocol
was still in effect in 1984. Father Kondor, in his interview, further
elucidates the mindset of Pope John Paul II on the day of the consecration. The
Pope questioned, only moments after his public consecration where he pronounced
the words of consecration shown above, whether the consecration of Russia had
actually been done. He tasked Father Kondor to ask Sister Lucia this exact
question: “Has the consecration of Russia been done?” This
documentary will reveal as-yet unpublished details of the true meaning of the
13th of August 1917 visit of Our Lady to the Cova whilst the three children
were held against their will by Mayor Arturo in Ourem. The analogy between Pope
John Paul II not being able to mention Russia and the children being prevented
from attending upon the Blessed Virgin Mary on the 13th of August is
striking. In his 25th of March 2004 interview, Father Kondor understood
the significance of the parallel for the first time.
On the 19th of August 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to the three
children and advised them that if they had followed her instructions to meet
her at the Cova at midday on the 13th day of sixth consecutive months,
then the miracle of the 13th of October would have been far
larger, seen by more people, affected the hearts of more people and lessened
the time of the First World War. If we, as the children of the Blessed Virgin
Mary complete her instructions exactly as she requested, the full graces will flow.
With the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the diplomatic protocol
has been extinguished. There are now Russian Orthodox prelates who believe Our
Lady of Fatima was instrumental in the fall of the Soviet Union. Christianity
now flourishes in Russia, and yet the full graces from a consecration done
exactly as requested by the Blessed Virgin Mary are still yet to flow. Only
when such a consecration has been done will a period of world peace begin.
In 2013, at the Holy Father's personal request, Cardinal Jose Polycarp,
the Patriarch of Lisbon, consecrated the pontificate of Pope Francis to Our
Lady of Fatima on her feast day, the 13th of May. It is our desire that
this documentary will assist Pope Francis to be a channel of Our Lady’s peace,
to bring her hope to the world in these times of despair, to bring her maternal
pardon to the injured and her sweet consolation to the suffering. By consecrating
Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in union with all the Catholic bishops
of the world, Pope Francis will not only fulfil the Blessed Virgin’s request in
exactly the manner she asked, he will also greatly honour his own consecration
to Our Lady of Fatima. It is also hoped that Pope Francis will extend an
invitation to the Orthodox bishops to partake in the consecration. It must not
be forgotten that this consecration will be done; Sister Lucia herself said
that the consecration will be done, but it will be done late. That time is now.
With all doubts being cast aside, may the Holy Father respond to the Blessed
Virgin’s request with a generous and lively faith, and by doing so, may these
days of sadness be changed to joy.
The title of the documentary is taken from the Presentation in the
Temple, where the Blessed Virgin Mary is told by Simeon that a sword would
pierce her own soul SO THAT 'The Secret Thoughts of Many' may
be laid bare. This documentary presents to the audience the secret thoughts of
many informed individuals, and attempts to explain how the sufferings of the Blessed
Virgin Mary are linked to her role in the salvation of humanity. The Blessed
Virgin Mary’s role is so important and integral for what is unfolding in the
world right now.
All donations will go to the completion of this documentary, which
includes the payment of editors (film and sound), musicians, promotion, travel
and related direct out-of-pocket expenses. Significant monies have already been
expended on this project but funds raised through this campaign will not go to
repay those expenses.
