Help an Indian FSSP seminarian become a priest

Dominic was rescued when he was in his mother’s womb and gives all credit to the Catholic Church. He grew up in India in a non-Christian family, but was drawn to Jesus and Mary since he was a little boy.

Dominic’s visa sponsors write:
When Dominic’s mother was very young, she went to the hospital to end her pregnancy. Thankfully, the nuns at the hospital helped her choose another way.

When Dominic was born, the nuns offered him to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The seeds sown by these holy women led him on a journey of faith.

As his faith grew stronger, he found comfort in reading the Word of God. He would often visit the local parish priest to talk about the faith. With gratitude, he received the Sacrament of Baptism at the age of 16.

Through his witness of joy, Dominic’s mother and maternal grandmother followed soon after. With the desire to give his entire life to God, he began considering the priesthood.

Dominic’s spiritual director confirmed his calling and guided him to apply to the Fraternity of Saint Peter. Dominic is overjoyed that he is accepted to the FSSP seminary for September 2021.

Dominic is the only heir to his father’s inheritance, but him and his mother were disowned by the family after they converted, losing all financial benefits.

To Dominic, this is little compared to the joy of knowing Christ. Although a widow, and Dominic being the only son, his mom is freely offering her son back to the Catholic Church who gave him life.

The seminary covers most of the expenses but asks each seminarian to provide $8,300 up front (Travel to the US – $800; First year tuition fee – $7,000; First year personal money -$500)

7 Years with annual costs of $8,200 ($7,000 tuition; $500 required personal money; $700 required health insurance)

Total for 7 years in seminary = $57,400

Please consider a one time donation for the upfront costs.
