Fundraising Tips

What should I do after I launch my campaign?

Ask friends and family to set up Peer-to-Peer campaigns that will help you towards your goal. Create updates with optional videos explaining how important your cause is, asking people to share and donate. Share your campaign extensively on all social media platforms, asking your network to do likewise.

How do I email a personalized video to potential supporters?

First record a video using available tools separate from LifeFunder. Log in to your profile page and click the “Updates” tab. Create a campaign update which includes the video that you just made. Publish the update, and all your campaign followers and individual followers will be notified.

Each campaign will have a unique LifeFunder URL link. We encourage you to share the LifeFunder link on social media and within emails that you send to family and friends. On your campaign page is a “Share” button which displays a pop-up with sharing links to the major social media […]

We encourage you to share your campaign with family, friends, co-workers, classmates, teammates, and loved ones. People who you know will be eager to support your campaign and share your campaign with their network of potential donors. Don’t be afraid to ask and get friends and family involved!
